HOW TO COME TO METOCHI FROM ATHENS BY CAR

If you have your own car or have rented, then you can easily come from Athens in about 2 hours & 45 '.

Following the Attiki Odos and then the Athens - Corinth National Road, immediately after the Isthmus, go right at exit 10 (Corinth - Epidavros) and immediately after, turn left, under the bridge, on the road that leads to the location "Loutra Oreas Elenis" and continues to Epidaurus.

Drive for about 40 minutes and reach the junction for Epidaurus. Just before you will see signs to Poros or Spetses. At the intersection, turn right and immediately turn left, under the bridge.

Continue on this road, meeting on your right the supermarket "Vasilopoulos".

A little further you will find signs at another intersection, where you turn left on the sign that points "towards Poros" and following the coastal road you will reach Galatas, located opposite Poros, in about 30 minutes.

Cross Galatas and continue following the same coastal road. You pass through the areas Plaka - Lemon Forest - Aliki and after about half an hour you are in Metochi.

The road is quite good and for the total route from Athens to Metochi, at an average speed, we need about 2 hours & 45 '.

Metochi is the nearest area of the Peloponnese located opposite Hydra. In Metochi there is space and if you want guarded parking to leave your car and cross across to Hydra, with daily departures of the boats "FREEDOM Ι, II, III & IV" that lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Also from Metochi area area you can reach the historical and beautiful Hydra island
anytime you like also with a SEA TAXI.
