Exceptional. It's a really good solution for a brief stay in the island. The staff is extremely nice and polite. Although there are quite a lot of stairs to reach it, it's worth it!

I really enjoyed our stay! The room was very bright and cheerful and the staff was very helpful. A delicious breakfast was served in a lovely garden for 5 euros. I liked being away from the port with all its restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk to a nice beach. It was a long walk uphill to the guesthouse, over 200 steps along the way. However, this would be the same for any accommodation that was not at the port. We used a donkey to transport our luggage from the port to the guesthouse - 20 euros.

The room was very nice in blue and white. Fit perfect to my image of the grease island. The staff was very friendly. A little complicated to find for the first time but after the explanation of the staff every thing goes OK. A little bit far from the port. But may be this was a benefit because we see the small streets which are adorable. And the place was very calm and quite.

Exceptional. A very nice place to stay in Hydra at a very good price. The only inconvenient is that you have to climb more than 200 stairs to get to the propriety. This could be quite hard if you have luggage with you.

Highly recommended hotel very near Leonard Cohen's old house on Hydra. Quiet location above the bustle of places nearer the port. Very clean, spacious and with helpful staff. I would have liked a kettle and cups in the room.

Theano Guesthouse ( Oeano Hotel } Hydra Island. The staff was wonderful. They served an optional 5 euro breakfast in the outdoor garden patio which was very good. The hike from the Hydra port is quite steep with many steps but you can ask a donkey to carry your bags for ten euro. Also the signs for Theano actually are spelled Oeano. We liked the fact that Theano is located at about the same distance from the port as the beaches. The rooms are not large but adequate for two. Leonard Cohen's old house is very nearby. I think it may be for sale. There is also a small store nearby. Overall Theano Guesthouse is a very good deal. We would have liked to stay longer but had to move on in our travels. Hydra is a very unique island.

Wonderful setting, staff, facilities and food. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, such good value for money and in such a beautiful setting. Nothing! It was wonderful, I wish we could have stayed longer!

A lovely place in a very nice and authentic Greek island. I really enjoyed the home-feeling and the cozy and authentic Greek atmosphere. The room was big, clean and nicely decorated. The staff was lovely and attentive. To reach the guesthouse you have to climbs a few steps, so I would recommend you to travel with a light luggage or a backpack.

Wonderful. Great breakfast - wasn’t clear however that it wasn’t included in the booking fee. My key was faulty strangely on the second night.

Excellent stay, thoroughly enjoyed it. Obviously Theano is quite far away from the port but nothing that a healthy adult can't handle. Hydra is about walking. After a couple of times of going up and down the stairs you'll get used to it. The facilities I thought were great, room was modern and spacious, nicely decorated, the bathroom was absolutely fine. Everything was very clean. Staff were great. I loved the location - it is nowhere near the waterfront but there is so much more to Hydra that you need to explore. Take the opposite route one day to the mountain and walk in these neighbourhoods, you will love it. Go towards Avlaki and Kamini, stunning.

По карте с сайта Booking.com или maps.google - это абсолютно невозможно! Как добраться самостоятельно: встаньте лицом к башне с часами на пристани-справа начинается улица-пройдите метров 20-дорога разойдется рогаткой-идите по левой улице. Справа будет супермаркет-идите дальше-слева будет сквер с бюстами-идите дальше-справа будет таверна Аннета-идите дальше метров 20-справа будет лестница-поднимитесь до конца и поверните налево-идите по этой длинной лестнице-улице вверх метров 150-справа старый двухэтажный дом обложенный строительными лесами- перед ним справа лестница-идите по ней вверх метров 50-слева в большом темно ЖЕЛТОМ доме супермаркет-идите дальше метров 20- справа маленький переулочек-проход - поверните в него и пройдите метров 10-15, поверните налево - пройдите метров 15 и вы упретесь в дверь этого гостевого дома. Если пройдя супермаркет в желтом доме, вы увидите с правой стороны улицы другой супермаркет - значит вы проскочили этот крохотный проход - вернитесь назад. На некоторых поворотах есть таблички, но на них название написано по-гречески - не "THeano", a "øeano_"

Friendly and pleasant hotel, cute location just up from the port. Comfy, very safe, clean, good air conditioning, great views and local shop for bottled water, provisions etc. Not flashy or boutique at all but ideal if you're not exploring the town and nearby beaches as it's close to the port, cafes, restaurants and shops. Make sure you take your keys with you as the staff aren't available to let you in after 9pm! Location is a 10 minute walk up a lot of winding roads, which is picturesque and meant I got to see a lot of Hydra town, however it was a bit of a slog lugging a big bag up and down, definitely worth it though as it's a cute little hotel / pension.

Felt like home! Ladies were very friendly, felt like home! Breakfast was superb! All was good!

Wonderful. The hotel was a little hard to find in the dark, but the signs were easy to follow during the daytime. The staff was welcoming, and breakfast was AMAZING! Definitely a great place to stay.

Quiet and peaceful with nice staff. The location is up from the town so very quiet. Nice breakfast available for an extra fee. I didn't realize just how many steps (212) there were from the port to the guest house. We should have employed mules for the luggage. We didn't mind walking up and down to town and the beach without luggage.
